Who we are
Sentral Studios was set up in 2022 by Sydney and Suzanne Curtis, a married couple from Leigh on sea Essex.
There passion is to make Short Films and Feature Films filmed in and around Leigh on sea.
Sydney’s dad Richard Curtis was the original founder of Central Studios a film Studio in Zambia, Africa where Sydney was born and raised. Sadly Richard Curtis died at the age of 42 in 1990 and central studios died with him.
So now it is time for the new Sentral Studios to make and create in his honour and to let his legacy live on.

Richard went to Zambia, Africa in the 80s where he had an ambition to be apart of the Tv and advertising industry. This is when he created Central Studio. He also used the company to let musicians have a save place to work on their ambitions. Sadly Richard Curtis wasn’t able to fulfil his ambitions and dreams as he died at the age of 42 in 1990 and sadly Central Studios died with him.

Sydney has had a passion for acting for many years and has been a supporting artist working on numerous films such as 355, Jurassic World and Tom and Jerry also tv shows Pennyworth and Pistols.
Whilst doing this he gained an interest in the production and directing side of filmmaking and has decided to start to direct and produce his own

He started Raindance Film School in October 2022 studying Acting and Film Production.

Suzanne has gained her passion for filmmaking through Sydney and what they have been developing together she now wants to change her career path from dentistry to film production. Although she does not share Sydney’s love of Acting the production side she really loves and would love to do this as a full time career. Suzanne also started at Raindance in October 2022 studying Film Production
